
As an Investigations Sergeant, he was responsible for the review, assignment, and investigation of hundreds of criminal cases each year. Working with the detectives assigned to his unit, the basic facts of a case were determined, victims, witnesses and suspects identified and interviewed, evidence collected and evaluated and if warranted a case file presented to a prosecutor for charges to be filed.
